We are looking for a physical geographer or geologist with research interests in landscape change over various timescales, including the Quaternary, who is able to teach across the discipline. This role has become available to cover for a colleague who has been awarded a Royal Society Industrial Fellowship from January 2024.
This role will include successfully teaching science to students with non-scientific backgrounds and field teaching. You will contribute to teaching and dissertation supervision on our undergraduate Geography and Environment and Sustainability programmes (particularly on Environmental Processes and Climate and Society) and to Masters teaching on our suite of environmental programmes, particularly modules on Climate Change, Energy and Climate Change and Urban Sustainability. In order to be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of teaching physical geography/geology at university level and an enthusiasm for working with diverse student cohorts.
